This is from their web site.
long explanation of accreditation - and this misrepresentation

Both of them have the same legal status in the USA and both exclude each other. This means a University can choose either for a Private Accreditation by a Private Accreditation body (e.g. by one of the regional boards or by the AACSB, ACBSP or IACBE) or choose to obtain a STATE LICENSE issued by the Ministry of Education in each State .

Effectively, if a University obtains a State License there is no need for a private Accreditation and if a University obtains a Private Accreditation they do not need a State License.

The procedures to obtain a Private Accreditation or a State License are approximately the same e.g. self-evaluation procedure etc. Both the Ministry of Education as well as the Private Accreditation body check the course/program content together with added value to the student to ensure that they conform to the legal requirements for Universities. Also they control the Infrastructure, campus facilities, institutional management and that least 90% the faculty/professors hold a PhD degree.

    --------------------------------

this is to confuse non USA students

    Ministry of Education in states?
Well maybe they wanted to say State Department of Education.

Well maybe they know the future because CA is about to have Ministry of Education but it isn't US but Mexico but this is for deferent board.

The Preston University degree is valid and official. The State of Wyoming authorizes :)

Universiteit Russell Hobbes itself is in the last phase of private USA accreditation by the IACBE (the International Assembly for Intercollegiate Business Education). The IACBE is a well known private accreditation body in the USA (similar to AACSB). After obtaining USA accreditation, URH will
    obtain Dutch/Belgian accreditation.

    Last phase = unaccredited.

The programs which Universiteit Russell Hobbes runs on behalf of Preston University are indirectly controlled by the Ministry of Education in Wyoming USA. Preston operates with a State License accreditation method from The Ministry of Education in Wyoming, which is in turn controlled by the federal Ministry of Education.
Thus, the Preston Programs are accredited through the State License Accreditation procedure in the USA.

But maybe - is there candidate status with IACBE?

Does URH belong in the Ivory League ?

The Universiteit Russell Hobbes "Accreditation" pages make repeated references to the "Ivory League" (not to be confused with the "Irony League".)

Its like the "Goldy League" and "Bronzy League" except that the members are made of iron.

It is unfailingly interesting to look down from my ivy tower at all these peculiar goings on.
