So this is how they reformatted their job advertisement:

    <Quote>
The Department of Labor does not recognize
academic degrees from schools that are not
    accredited by an accrediting institution
recognized by the Department of Education. Any
applicant falsely claiming an academic degree
from an accredited school will be subject to
    actions ranging from disqualification from
federal employment to removal from federal
    service.

They don't mention foreign schools. Can the job requirements for Foreign Labor Certification processing person (dealing with people with foreign degrees) exclude people with foreign degrees?

They will need a way to determin if foreign degree is GAAP.

Example is the Personel department of our Federal government.
    They rely on evaluation agencies.

I think that its just a meter of time before Foreign Credential Evaluation Agencies will have to be officialy recognized by Department of Education.

In UK this is done by NARIC

The UK NARIC is the national agency under contract to the Department for Education and Skills (DfES). We are the official source of information and advice on the comparability of international qualifications from over 180 countries worldwide with those in the UK.

WThey also provide information about education systems and qualifications to higher education institutions, professional bodies and commercial organisations.

I know they do. That's how the LC usually works. But they do not say "accredited or equivalent" on the job ad, they sait "accredited". So my question is: may it be so that the people who judge the acceptability of foreign degree won't hire a person with foreign degree? Is this an omission or discrimination?

Yea thats a good question, When I see universities state the same and I contact them with questions then they refer me to their evaluator's or they ask for a transcript be sent to they by the foreign institution.

    Its a good question
