    Revans University - Vila, Vanuatu

The University of Action Learning is recognized by the Standing Commission for Workplace Action Learning.

After losing DETC accrediation, Revans University moved to Vanuatua - small island in south pacific!

Have they joined the league of diploma mills or perhaps this is a transition period? Where is Standing Commission for Workplace Action Learning located?

According to the forward by the principal of Revans University:

Does that mean they recognise themselves? It would be rather unfortunate if they didn't...

It appears that Revans has been cleaning up its website. Many of the pages mentioned earlier and all references to the "Commission for Workplace Action Learning" has been removed. Several broken links on the site map as well.

Even with the cleaning it still has an application page with the mentioning DETC accreditation.

This is not an orphan page, it is directly accessible from the front page (Site Map -> Apply Online).

Am I correct in assuming that Revans is still no longer accredited by DETC?

    Yes, you´re correct.
The Accreditation was terminated as of February 21, 2005.

I wonder if we will ever learn of the real reason why this happened. I thought I read somewhere that Revans withdrew the accreditation themselves. Is this true?

    Cheers,

    George

The last DETC reference seems to be gone. Presumably they are paying attention here. Let's find out.

At 10 am this June 18, the application form asks for the applicant's "Peronal" address. Presumably this is not related to where one lived when working for the Argentine government.

Their prestige seems pretty menemal at the moment.

I hope they don´t get the bad idea to sell degrees one day.

    vanuatu

islands.......vanuatu.......no need for a license to operate from there as long as you do not offer courses to citizens.

But do they really think they get sufficient students with the current bad image and without accreditation?
