    Auckland University provides cut price fees for PhD program for Chinese students in deal with Labour Government New Zealand.

    Hmmmm....a little discriminatory if you ask me. I wonder why Chinese students would get this benefit but students from other nations would not....probably has something to do with the free trade negotiations.

    "Discriminatory"? Sounds more like a boring old bulk rate deal.

    Hmmm I agree sounds like some bulk trading of merchandise to balance out the terms of trade in services and goods possibly. Quite common I have heard with other Common Wealth nations.

    Commodification of degrees is not unheard of there.
