So why "Panama Canal" University? Why not, say, "Suez Canal University?"

One reason might be that expressed by Offshore-Etc.com which, for $270. per year, will forward mail from their "Registered Office" at 34-20 Calle 34, Panama 5, Republic of Panama: "Panama has become one of the most important tax havens of the Western Hemisphere."

And so we have the flash-in-a-pan (now-defunct) Ameritech University listed with address "34-20 Calle 34, Panama 5, Republic of Panama" as well as Panama Canal University at the (can you believe it?) very same address.

And there's also the Colony University "Executive Development Assessment (EDA) Competency-based MBA Program" in the very same sardine can!

There used to be the "Institute of Executive & Professional Development" there too, but that's long gone to the mysterious goatbag burial ground, leaving its corner of 34-20 Calle 34 Panama 5 to its box-buddies.

So many schools in such a small volume: it must get pretty stuffy between mail deliveries. Hard on the students, hard on the faculty, hard on all those library books. Perhaps that explains all the "its" vs. "it's" confusion: not enough oxygen's geting to the brain of the web mistress.

Oh, how I wish that each and every one of Dr. Galanga's investigative exposes of diploma mills would come to the serious attention of the FBI.

In fact, Dr. Galanga, would it be ok with you if each and every one of us who find these goatbags to be quite disdainful were to submit each and every one of your informative posts about these unsavory characters and unsavory "schools" to the attention of FBI investigators?

The FBI targets telemarketing fraud here.

The FBI's Internet Fraud Complaint Center is here.

The FBI can be otherwise contacted, and provides avenues for filing online complaints, here.

    Thanks.
