Like to get published? The Journal of the Association of Online Universities "is a prestigious cademic journal that is read by national and international audiences." JAOU informs visitors that "publishing your works can make your boost your CV and ensure that your scholarly works are well-received and respected." Fine writing, that!

It is a Saint Regis entity, of course, and also offers for sale the collected works of the SRU clientele.

"Publishing" with JAOU costs $200 or more. The " readership volume or distribution of" JAOU is claimed to be "Approximately 3 million per month."

Yeah right. That's like the old SRU claim to hande 150,000 applications per year.

If you don't want to pay for the SRU oeuvres, go up and over a level to "complete the application as a precursor to your FREE INTERVIEW to start up a new school."

    Ladida.

while being at it: too bad if the acknowledgement on page 1 of the "thesis" seems already copied :)

I would like to thank Prof. Dr. Georg Reiff for his support and direction in putting together this document that I believe will change a bit the way contemporary musicians and therapists see the development of Music Therapy.
A special note of thanks goes out to Professor Dr. Franks from the Interfaith Seminary who suggested that I continue studying Music Therapy as Major and Psychology as Minor during my postgraduate years at Saint Regis University. In addition, I would also like to thank Archbishop Robert G. Guffey for his support throughout the years. And, I would very much like to express my sincere thanks to Dr. Tia Roberts for encouraging me to continue this worthwhile endeavour. Lastly, I would like to thank St Regis University, which has many campuses throughout the world, for making this educational opportunity possible for people of all nations.

I would like to thank Dr. St. Schank for his support and direction in putting together this document that I believe will change a bit the way contemporary historians see the development of our western civilization. A special note of thanks goes out to Professor Dr. Stefan Flacke from the Interfaith Seminary and Mr Thorsten Brandes, BA who both suggested that I continue studying History as Major and Psychology as Minor during my undergraduate years at Canterbury University. In addition, I would also like to thank Archbishop Robert G. Guffey for his support throughout the years. And, I would very much like to express my sincere thanks to Professor P. O’Brien for encouraging me to continue this worthwhile endeavor. Lastly, I would like to thank St Regis University, which has many campuses throughout the world, for making this educational opportunity possible for a European Union fulltime employee.

wow, must have been hard work to substitute some names and instantdegrees.com "Canterbury University" for "st.regis" :)

Thank you for this wonderful reference! It will make a wonderful example for a paper that I am writing on "Why Instructional Technologists Need To Be Concerned About Online Diploma Mills" (which, obviously, will not be published in JAOU) . This type of scam (obviously marketed to faculty wanting to pad their vitas) is just a different version of the diploma mill scams.

I will not be surprised to see faculty trying to pass off a purchased JAOU publication reference as a referreed scholarly journal pub to some tenure review board. tick...tick...tick...boom!
