Florida Green Univepsity?

Florida Green University?

Has anyone heard of this school? Have any info on it? I'd really appreciate it.

 

We had an applicant from this place a while ago. He was from Pakistan and claimed he had gone to the US-based Florida Green University in Karachi/Pakistan, where they would have a campus. Did not sound suspicous to me, as the guy also was from Pakistan. Whatsoever we did not find any evidence that this place exists anywhere, neither in the US nor in Pakistan. In fact we didn't even find a diploma mill outlet, we found plain nothing?!? The adress the applicant supplied in Pakistan seems to exist (mail didn't return) but noone answered our enquiries.

 

Here's what we wrote in Bears' Guide:

"In 1998 we received a fax announcing Florida Green University, incorporated in Delaware, with an office in Miami and its main campus in Karachi, Pakistan. We faxed back asking for more information but never got a response. Florida Green is listed as an accredited member on the Web site of the unrecognized and dreadful World Association of Universities and Colleges."
