Online Learning Directory meltdown

This is nearly as funny as the Subserviant Chicken site that John Bear posted a few days ago. But since it is on a site promoting products of the Saint Regis group it seemed best to put it in the "Accredited vs..." forum.

On the Online Learning Directory site is an animated blonde female whose eyes will follow your mouse around the screen. Earlier, she greeted visitors with the following monologue:

The spiel is different now.

There is an associated discussion forum featuring several posts by "Zon 7." Its tone is like you might expect it to be.

 

The new forum is actually hosted on a free web forum hosting service. It seems that despite the trashing of James Crabbe and the other members of Degreeinformation DL (except Zon 7, of course), it seems that Jamesville is actually the inspiration for this new forum. It should be a big hit with the degree mill crowd, however, as dr. John Dovelos (a.k.a. Zon 7, among several other aliases), who never met a Turd World “school” he didn’t want to get intimately involved with and lend his prodigious oral talents to, is applying his hilariously sleazy marketing zeal to the effort.

dr. Dovelos’ proposal for a TOS agreement for this site has to be one of the funniest things I have ever read. It includes such oxymoronic (or is that just plain moronic) statements as the following.

• “But, let's ban from this forum slanderous, abusive and sarcastic terms which belong only to sewers like degreemisinfo and its crap eating inhabitants.“

I might, however, consider posting there (and so should other members of this forum) as, according to dr. Dovelos’ proposal, we will be the only ones allowed to employ the terms "degree mill" and "diploma mill."

• ”Gutter language, abuse, sarcasm, slander and terms such as 'degree mill' and 'diploma mill' have no place and are totally unecessary in school critiques and evaluations, unless, of course, you name is Alan Contreras, Galanga, Bill Huffman, Jake A, Gus Sainz, Uncle Janko, Rich Douglas and the rest of the host of sewer inhabitants.”

Somewhere, someplace, dr. John Dovelos, armed with a bevy of degree mill doctorates, is dealing with (using the term “treating” seems like way too big a stretch) individuals with mental health problems, and purporting to teach others how to do the same.

Pretty scary, huh?

 

I would like to be the first to congratulate Jake. This might be the first time that degree mill fanatics have listed you on another forum! Congratulations and welcome to the "sewer".

(For myself, I really don't feel that I deserve such a great honor as being listed with such august company but then I consider the source and have to just shrug it off.)

 

I had lost track of these guys as will happen if you don't visit their sites. This one was pretty funny. The funniest part is the fact that by spending all their time trying to demean degreeinfo they actually pay homage to degreeinfo. After all, we must be very important if they're going to spend all that time, energy, etc. putting out daily put-downs of the various degreeinfo personalities. That blonde babe is going to point every single newbie right at degreeinfo and as soon as they get here they'll realize that online learning directory (or whatever they're calling themselves these days) is a scam. As usual, those maroons just wind up talking to themselves. As far as I'm concerned they are hoist by their own petard.
