Yes, please do a search and some reading. Unaccredited, an outgrowth of the now-closed Columbia Pacific University. Has claimed accreditation from the government of Malawi, but that didn't seem to have any meaning academically.

 

I asked this question a few months ago. Here is what I was told:

Apparently it is the successor institution to CPU, a California state approved institution that lost its state approval and went through an extensive and ultimately unsuccessful court fight to get it back.

Alan Contreras of Oregon's Office of Degree Authorization posted that agency's letter to Columbia Commonwealth wherein ODA detailed the changes CCU would have to make in order to satisfy ODA criteria for approval of its degrees in Oregon.

I don't get the impression that ODA considers CCU to be a diploma mill but I also have not heard whether CCU has taken the necessary steps to satisfy ODA.

I thought that CCU had some interesting programs last time I looked at their web site. I do not know whether CCU is a legitimate school or not.
