It's been a while since I've posted. Studying for the GRE subject test in 4 weeks 2 days.

I could really use your help on whether the following two colleges are accredited (this is a social worker in michigan claiming these credentials)

    Thanks so much

Bachelor of Arts from Cornerstone University and a Master of Ministry from Baptist Bible Seminary Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania.

I managed to find a search phrase that worked, and have found that both of these schools are accredited.

    Trust, but verify- no?

I can tell you that Cornerstone is regionally accredited but I don't know enough abough the accreditation of seminaries, etc. to say anything definitive about Baptist Bible Seminary.

    Maybe

    Cornerstone is regionally accredited:
If "Baptist Bible Seminary Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania" is actually one of the following, then it, too, is accredited by a CHEA-approved agency... the second one, regionally accredited:
    1. Baptist Bible College
      538 Venard Rd
      Clarks Summit, PA 18411-1297
      Phone: (570) 586-2400
      Fax: (570) 585-9400
      Web: www.bbc.edu

Accreditation by: Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) Commission on Accreditation (last updated March 2004).

    2. Baptist Bible College of Pennsylvania
      P. O. Box 800 538 Venard Road
      Clarks Summit, PA 18411
      Phone: (570) 586-2400
      Fax: (570) 585-9400
      Web: www.bbc.edu

Accreditation by: Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA) Middle States Commission on Higher Education (last updated August 21, 2003).[/list=1]If it's not one of those two, then I dunno... but note that both use the same web site URL and the same address, etc.; though they have separate listings in the CHEA database.

In the future, check here:Hope that helps.

thank you guys for looking. the reason I was asking is because someone with those credentials was really causing some consternation on a mental health bulletin board that I also frequent (for unipolar and bipolar folk) and was so combative/insensitive I suspected his credentials may be fake.
