What about V.A.E. and U.M.I. Université Multiculturelle International?
Another question: are AUAP Credential Evaluation Service work experience evaluations really recognized to earn credit from US RA rec. universities?
    Many thanks.

Today in USA only NACES member credential evaluation services accepted by RA universities.

Go to any licensing board or RA university web site in USA and check under guide lines for
applicants with non US degrees - in 99% you will see a list of accepted or approved evaluators who are NACES members.

    AUAP is not NACES member.

On case by case situation an institution may accept evaluation from agency that is not on their list.

I know for a fact that AUAP evaluations were accepted in state of CO, TX, CA , FL and IN by RA and NA Universities.

Some licensing boards such as Social Work will require evaluation by the evaluation department of the professional accreditor of Social Work licensing board in USA.

ABET has it's own agency that evaluates Engineering degrees for
    PE licensing etc.

Now tha school you are talking about - Université Multiculturelle International is evaluated by NACES member credential evaluator as equivalent to US degree from a university that is NOT Regionally Accredited.

And some of NACES evaluation agencies may decline evaluationg degrees from this entity.

    Another VAE DL university...

This place is interesting. Its degree-granting authority comes from French-speaking Dominica (where it is unaccredited), but it also has contact details in the US, France and Argentina.

The website is pretty thorough, but no names of faculty are given anywhere. The fees are a good deal more expensive than Sorbon.

That led me also to the wonderfully-named Epictetus College (http://www.epictetus-college.org) which appears to be an offshoot of UMI. It is some time since I last saw a guarantee of the type they offer at http://www.epictetus-college.org/recognition.htm

    GUARANTEE

Epictetus College commits itself to a full refund of fees to any graduate who has not enhanced his professional or social status thanks to his degree within five years.

Res ipsa loquitur, as Epictetus himself would probably have said.

This is a copy of a post in aanother place

I wouldn't say 99% of all schools, many schools do their own evaluations, and there are schools that accept evalautions from other companies. I would agree that NACES member evaluations carry more weight than non-naces members, but I wouldn't go so far as to say 99%.

    Yes,
I should say High persentage of the approved credential evaluators listed by the universities are NACES member agencies.

I'm yet to see a referance to an agency that is not NACES member.

And it is corrct that many universities do their own evaluations.

I would like to correct my statement about only NACES member credential evaluators are accepted by Universities.

I got a few privet emails - with links to web sites of Universities that list deferent credential evaluation services.

Some of the listed credential evaluators are not NACES members.

My opinion changed, and I hope my previous post didn't have a bad affect on the legitimate businesses and livelihood of the people involved.

    Another time V.A.E. and UMI

Thank you for the kindly replay and other explanations.

    You say:

"Now tha school you are talking about - Université Multiculturelle International is evaluated by NACES member credential evaluator as equivalent to US degree from a university that is NOT Regionally Accredited."

That means UMI degrees are mill in USA?

Do you know anything about UMI degrees in France, UK and Europe?

    Thanks.

I'm not saying they are a mill, just that they have no recognized accreditation, they don't list faculty, and read the rest.

UMI is not recognised by the French authorities, although they say their degrees will be accepted there.

UMI is an IBC in Dominica.

Dominica is not a French speaking Island of the Carribean..

La Dominique is a small French Island part of Guadeloupe near Basse terre.

Dominica, has some French sounding city names, but is English speaking and part of HM The Queeen's Commonwealth.

Dominica is not part of Europe, nor ratified the Lisbon Convention.
