    Hey Guys,

    Correct me if I'm wrong:

A diploma mill that states "We offer high quality novelty diplomas/transcripts!" hence do nothing illegal. Other diploma mills I've noted they state they are a printing company only.

As such, the law can't touch them and the only thing we can do is punish those who have bought these degrees to deceive.

Am I missing something here, or can the above diploma mills still get away scott free.

I think we need a worldwide list of accredited schools etc.

You can buy and wear t-shirts with "ARMY", "NAVY", "HARVARD", "JAILBIRD" or "JAILBAIT" printed boldly on them. Don't mean a thing cuz it ain't got no swing.

If an employer accepts a printed degree minus a transcript then that is the problem of the employer. You can print a degree at home if you please.

Hey, thanks for your feedback. Just as I thought.

I suppose the real problem we are trying to tackle are the places like Madison Uni, Lexington Uni etc. that claim accreditation amongst other things etc. to deceive.

I'm not a lawyer but making such a statement cannot mean that the place can't be prosecuted. If the prosecution can prove that they knew that their service would likely be used illegally, I would think that they could still be convicted of conspiracy to commit fraud. I would think that it would make prosecution a little more difficult is all.

There's always fraud and violation of trademarks.

Nosborne would do better with this but where "deception" becomes fraud is not easy to determine.

You've seen the posts from the guys on this board. Ask yourself how many of them could get a woman without some deception. :)

So that must be why the Catholic Church has a beer drinking program called "Theology on Tap" ;)
