The Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences is a Russian-British postgraduate university

this school is awarding british diplomas and one can see samples of the diplomas including Russian state Format diploma.

they claim accreditation in UK and byy the UK schools.

    in russia they have license.

I'm not sure how they award Russian State Format diplomas.

Usually it's the practice of diploma mills to dislply degrees on their web site.

They are affiliated with accredited universities but how can they award State diplomas?

    Something is not kosher.

The more I read more I see that this is legitimate school.

"The Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences is a Russian-British postgraduate university

At the same time as submitting the programmes for validation in Britain, the Moscow School applied for and obtained a licence from the Russian state structures in accordance with Russian standards for education. "

Maybe the translation is not clear - license from the Russian state structures?

Maybe its Accreditation for Russian State Format .

Their russian site has DL .

Well, first, the diploma they are displaying is a "diploma of professional retraining" rather than a "diploma of higher education". Here, I am out of my depth on Russian system. I know both are completely legitimate forms of documents. I'm under an impression that Russian MBAs are "diplomas of professional retraining" for some reason. Is it easier to get accredited to award those - I don't know.

Second, the diploma lists "Academy of National Economy" as the awarding school. MSSES is in the building of ANE and overall seens to be a division of ANE. As far as Russian business schools go, you wouldn't find any more legitimate than ANE.

What is this Kingston U. in UK?

Thanks for the info this is very helpful.

A dual degree by DL with option to study in Russian and English is very exiting for my cousin.

She has BA is Psychology and working as associate Social Worker with elderly.

This may be a very good way for her to get MSW - their degree offers not only MSW but additionally the Administration - so this can be used for position of MSW program director etc.

I would advise your cousin to check into the licensure issue. As an Administrator she may not be billing insurance companies, etc. but many organizations require that even managerial and administrative people with that degree retain (or obtain) licensure. Otherwise, keep us updated.
