IIRC, this one made Bear and Ezell's new book as an example of a less-than-wonderful school who takes a name similar to a legitimate--and well-known--school.

The comic strip Dilbert did a series on a new manager who, it turned out, got his MBA from "Hurford" University, or something like that.

Besides Weston Reserve University, there's at least two Stamford Universities:

The mysterious Stamford University of Bangladesh, complete with Stamford Medical Center:

And Stamford International University of Bankok Thailand (or China or someplace):

Weston Reserve University and its sister university (Alternative Medicines Research Institute) reside side by side in a tiny rented post office box in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The Better Business Bureau of British Columbia disallows either of these fine institutions from granting degrees in British Columbia.

Anyway, what faster way to broaden your resume is there than getting degrees from two institutions by utilizing one postage stamp?

    Weston Reserve University, AMRI, OIUCM

Weston Reserve University and the Alternative Medicines Research Institute (AMRI) are affiliated to the unlawfully operating university, the Open International University for Complimentary Medicines (OIUCM).

Please do not accord any status to any credential that is awarded by any of these so-called institutions.

I have also received information from the University Grants Commission directly stating that only degree certificates issued by local universities established under the provisions of the Universities Act, No. 16 of 1978 can be recognized. The Open International University for Complementary Medicines is not recognized by the UGC of Sri Lanka.

Please also see the the list from the HEC of Pakistan:
