Degreeboard Playing Games

First, Robert J. delivers a PR Piece from Gering on K-W. When I politely ask Robert J. if he was ever a student at K-W or otherwise affiliated with them, he blows a fuse and bans me. While several of the Mods are working hard to be fair and even-handed, it is equally clear there is a severe bias there and those that echo that bias get an overwhelming amount of leeway. I wonder if Robert J. stands for Robert J. Thomas or RJT for short? If any one knows feel free to message me. Thanks!

 

I decided to stop posting there because there was a proclivity for halting discussion about some subjects (guess which they were). I felt I was pre-empted too many times for speaking the plain truth.

I don't know who the personalities are, but the recent accommodation to K-WU says a lot.

I did not see it as an accomodation to KW but rather an opporutnity to get some straight answers from KW.

Except Gering is a professional PR person. How candid do you really think he is going to be? Like Henrik he is going to twist and obfuscate the truth. As enertaining as it might be, it will never be illuminating, however the Moderator's actions are.

 

I really wish you would not have been banned, and hope the moderator will reconsider. I think both this site and degreeboard have great qualities, but both seem to let some do things that they will not let others get by with.

I think you asked a fair question which was relevant to the discussion, but you probably should have waited on him to answer, and left it at that.

I hate that Bill Dayson and Rich Douglas are not posting there anymore. Forums are much more enjoyable when people post from different points of view politely without the personal attacks. I did not see your post as a personal attack at all. I just hope they will continue to try to be fair and balanced, and not try to run off those that may have a different point of view.
