Why ODA transform also the classification of this university?

    Strange thing!

This is other institution of higher education, which I want to know, with what kind of solid evidence ODA say in the past, that this is a diploma mill.

Again, with rock-solid facts, no media gossips.

The State of California should be ashamed for allowing something that is so clearly trying to "piggyback" on the reputation of the California State University system to even exist.

It's deceptive, at the very least.

The school is here in Riverside, CA with offices very near UCR (in fact there are some UCR offices in the same building). It is distance only but offers only a few very focused degree programs (management).

Probably only within your context. When you have a state that has many schools with the initials, "CSU", they're hoping to fit right in.

Out here I think few have heard of that school in Ohio.

  7. Solid Evidence

Any solid evidence that can be used in a Court (maybe a link) that declares why ODA put this as a Diploma mill in the past?

    brazen?

Uncle Janko: Its name is a brazen ripoff of the RA & HBCU Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio.

Nosborne: Why "brazen"? Couldn't it maybe be a "welden" or "solderen" or even "supergluen" ripoff?

My comment seemed to be taken as a denial of the same-initials racket. It wasn't. Since the victim of the complete-name-copying racket was a midwestern black college, it was parochial of me to express concern. My apologies. After all, no one who matters has heard of the real Central State University.

    Couple of observations:

I often wonder how two or more schools can operate for any length of time with the same name given the potential for trademark infringements in an interstate environment.

The ODA should rightfully list all 254 California approved schools as illegal, as well as all those approved or licensed from every other State. Why it doesn't seems to indicate its trepidation with its own system.

To Latin Juris' question: only the ODA can speak to its evaluative methods used for this listing. You can do a web search concerning the case history/complaints against Central State Univ. You can also contact the BPPVE and BBB for recent complaints. If it has been inspected and approved and there is no case history, and minimal complaints, then it's a good bet that hard evidence is slim.
