The search feature seems to be on the blink, so this may be old news.

Wow! While I was composing my post, galanga beat me to it. It seems we were working on the same thing at the same time.

I was about to say that those of you who also like to live dangerously (such as standing pat with a five when playing blackjack) might want to consider a degree from Dyson University. This new (at least to me, although their Web site appears to have been registered about a year ago) venture, on their home page, claims accreditation from, and proudly displays the logos of, such phonies as the Universal Council for Online Education Accreditation (UCOEA) and the World Online Accreditation Commission (WOEAC), as well as membership in the Higher Education Accrediting Commission. On another page, they claim accreditation from the Board of Online Universities Accreditation (BOUA) and World Online Education Accrediting Commission (WOEAC).

In other words, Dyson University is simply another degree mill run by the same perpetrators that have, for some time, sold fake degrees from such entities as Amstead University ,Ashwood University, Belford University, and Rochville University (which now offers nursing degrees in as little as seven days through Online Nursing Degrees).

These bogus degrees are sold through Web sites such as
    • Speedy Degrees
    • Buy a Degree
    • Degree Buyers Guide
    • Online Architecture Degrees
    • Online Engineering Degrees
    • Life Experience Degrees Online
    • Degrees On Line
    • Accredited Degrees Assistance
    • Affordable Degrees
    • Instant Degrees Online Based On Life Experience!
    …and my personal favorite
    • Accredited Non-Fake Online Degree Mill (?!)

It's obviously legit. With that name, it couldn't be anything else.

(I always knew that I'd eventually have a university named after me.)

I bet there are. Katz is a company that specializes in anonymous hosting. I imagine that besides hosting phony universities, they also provide valuable services to the spam and porn industries.

I can't do much internet stuff, and no email, from this hospital terminal. I hope that either galanga or Gus will discover the Email for Rich Robertson in Phoenix and send him this information with my compliments. Rich was the reporter for the Arizona Republic who spent months on their fantastic diploma mill series many years ago, then became an NBC investigative reporter, and now a very well connected private detective with a strong interest in these matters. He will almost certainly bring this to the attention of appropriate local media. Thanks. John
