The International Council of Open and Distance Education (ICDE) is now rejecting new and renewal applications from unaccredited schools.

This is not a change in their rules; just an enforcement of policy that was already in place.

Obviously the accredited members have been complaining.

This is interesting news Adam - can you please advise where you got the details?

    Cheers,

Sorry I can't name my source, George. But it is impeccable. This is a fact!

If you wish to verify, contact ICDE and they will confirm.

Now let's see if the unaccredited schools drop mention of their membership when their annual memberships expire and they are no longer members!

Another door of attempted legitimacy has now closed on unaccredited schools.

Since you refuse to cite a source, none of this is "obvious."

Re: Re: ICDE dropping unaccredited schools

OK then; the ultimate source is from an unaccredited school that has not been able to renew its membership because it is not accredited!

And if you require further 'proof', just send an email to ICDE. They will confirm their new implementation of existing policy.
