Drakefield University

www.uoduk.ac has undergone a change. From being the University of Dorchester it is now the University of Drakefield , still with the same old title page format and using the address of 10 College Terrace in London (a block of flats).

The telephone number is a pre-paid mobile 'phone (untrceable)

I have e-mailed the registrar in the vain hope of having the site pulled and I have also e-mailed PayPal, who provide an account for them. I do not know how many complaints PayPal require before acting.

 

Is this one part of the UDP family - Galanaga?

yep: here are two groups of University Degree Program sites. Compare files (for example, the "about us pages") in members of a group. Drakefield (quack quack quack) is in the second group.

I just had a copy of a message to the uoduk owner asking them to put their correct address on the whois details and saying the site is deactivated until they do so.

Ages ago I posted details of a site related tothe UDP sites that seemed to be a franchising outfit. Cannot remember the details but a search should find it.

 

The site I remember is www.bulkleader.com but my net connection is playing up so cannot get through to it.

ECHOE is the 'accreditation' body quoted by a number of these sites. There used to be a lot of them on adjacent IP addresses.

 

The site seems to be still off-line since the registrar pulled it. Some success then as they obviously have not come up with an acceptable address.
