CPU recognition in Europe

Hello to everyone.

This is my first post here so let me give you a little bit of background. I gained my Bachelor's degree University of Ulster and later my Masters from CPU (in 1991 when it still had approval).

I'm curious as to people's experience with their acceptance of a legitimate CPU degree outside of the US. I live in Holland and my degree is not recognized here. As I am not in academia it has had no impact on my career.

I am, however, thinking of returing to study to pursue a PHd, so I'd like to hear from anyone who has been in a similar position.

If you live/work in Europe and have a CPU, or equivalent, degree what has your experience been like if you sought to use it?
