    Hey everyone,

I subscribe to a useful Christian magazine full of quotes and quips, and it always has a ton of "Christian schools" advertising. My personal favorite to read for entertainment purposes is the web site of the Evangel Christian University of America: www.ecua.edu. I especially like the part where for $1440 you can "earn" a doctorate of religious studies which they claim is a "nonacademic" degree based on years of ministry and life experience. It does require you to write ten papers of 10,000 words each or two papers of 50,000 each. Why do all that work if they don't even call it a academic degree? Also, check out the accreddidation it claims to have. Here are some other fun websites for those that get a kick out of these things:

    Southern Indiana Baptist College: www.dupontbaptistchurch.com

Therapon University: www.theraponuniversity.org (they claim to be accredited by the American Accrediting Association of Theological Institutions (AATI).

International Bible College and Seminary: www.ibcsnet.com

    Lake Charles Bible College: www.lakecharlesbiblecollege.com
(Ad says: "Very economical program for Doctor of Ministry--36-week program for $400 or $100 every 9 weeks!")

Which one is your favorite? :)

    Steve

Evangel Christian University of America: accredited by the Transworld Accrediting Commission. Now there's a prestigious body.
