I thought the army had a list of approved colleges that the soldiers could go to.....

The military does. But if you don't check with your education office, you set yourself up for failure by getting a DBA from St Regis.

No. The services establish eligibility requirements for paying tuition assistance. But nothing prevents a soldier from paying for a diploma mill degree from his/her own pocket.

That such a thing could be printed without even a hint as to the real status of the degree and school shows us just how ripe the market is for diploma mills, even ones as noteworthy as St. Regis.

    Trinity?

I wonder if the "Trinity College" reference is actually to "Trinity Collge & University?" If so, Mr. Thomas may have known what he was getting when he went with SRU.

My degree mill book co-author Allen Ezell will be testifying at Ft. Bragg in a court martial case in a couple of weeks, involving a soldier with fake degrees (in this case, Devonshire). So there are some Army people who are taking this seriously.
