Illinois Board of Higher Education closes private college

The Illinois Board of Higher Education has revoked the Certificate of Approval and Authorization to Operate of American Islamic College. From the IBHE document:

Before resigning in 2002, three members of the AIC Board of Directors sent IBHE a letter stating that "In our opinion the college's academic program has declined to a state of almost non-existence..." Apparently the College had not managed to enroll students in recent years.
