Absolutely the worst kind of scam… and in this case, the victims were actually victims (they in all likelihood thought that they were doing something legitimate to better their lives and succeed in America).

53 states?? Wow, Maxine Waters (non-voting Congressional representative from the District of Columbia) will be probably be very upset that Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands got statehood before DC.

    Cheers,

  3. 53 States???

I like the part about the "53 states" in the "workbook"...

Wonder what the other states are? hmmm....

    Could it be:

    1. Liberia
    2. Romania
    3. India

    ???

or maybe Mead/Spokane is one of the states?

Maxine Waters is a very-much voting member of Congress from California, representing District 35. The District of Columbia is represented by the non-voting delegate, Eleanor Holmes Norton.

Oops... I stand very much corrected. Coffee was slow to kick in this morning. Norton is the champion of DC voting rights.

    Thanks for the correction, Rich.

    Cheers,
    Tony

Naw, it's just me being a prick. I live in the Greater DC Metro region, so I happen to know it. Otherwise, it is an obscure fact.

    Cheers to you!
