Lambert University doesn't show up in the 15th edition of Bears' Guide. I would take that as a caution sign.

But Lambert applied for DETC accreditation

Applying for accreditation means nothing. Blatant diploma mills can apply for accreditation, even if they stand no chance of being accredited.

I know nothing about Lambert, so I have no idea if their accreditation efforts are sincere or not.

This is an interesting one. Lambert University is linked to Anaheim University - see http://www.lambert.edu/career/contact.html It claims to be domiciled in Hawaii.

Yes, no mention in Bears Guide of either.

One of their senior lecturers is Dr Peter Nunan, from my alma mater, Flinders University - http://anaheim.edu/about/nunan/research_nunan.shtml

Both Lambert University and Anaheim University claim they used to be called Newport Asia Pacific University (page 210 of Bears Guide), which was formerly known as Asia Pacific Open University.

So many name changes over such a short period of time - why?

    Cheers,

    George

    Yikes!

A $25,000 unaccredited distance MBA??? This makes CCU look pretty good.
