"International Education Assessment" says it "has built a national reputation for providing high quality evaluations with affordable fees" and that "If you graduated from a recognized college or university outside the US IEA can evaluate your degree as equivalent to a US Regionally Accredited degree."

In the blue-text-on-blue-background at the bottom of the IEA home page, it says "Your money refunded if your degree is not evaluated as equivalent to a US accredited degree."

Hmm... Might IEA be a kindred organization to Academic Credential Assessment Corporation, which had been using Saint Regis faculty as evaluators? Let's look.

The contact information on the web site is this:
    International Education Assessment (IEA)
    9016 Taylorsville Road
    Louisville, KY 40299
    Phone: (502) 493-9700.

That's also the address and phone number of UPS Store #2454.

Take a look at the domain registration information.

www.educationassessment.com = 66.236.28.61 but the site hides the identity of its registrant using RegisterFly.com. The domain's creation date is 02 Jul 2004 13:18:49 so it's new.

A few other sites with that IP address are these:All this suggests that a connection with other Saint Regis-friendly evaluators is a reasonable possibility.

Who are their staff? We are told
...but names of personnel do not seem to appear anywhere on the site.

Sometimes an operator of an unaccredited school will display material on her/his site which is nearly identical to that found on an accredited university site. Might we find something like that going on here?

    Well, yes, actually.

The IEA services/fees page includes a link under the text "For a printable version of the IEA Request for Additional Evaluation Copies, please click here" which points to a PDF file in the IEA site. Opening the link shows that the document originally came from the legitimate credential evaluator Foreign Credentials Service of America," located in Austin, TX.

Perhaps other material shows a similar provenance? Let's compare a couple of the pages.

    IEA "about" page:
    FCSA "about" page:
But the FCSA site then describes the qualifications of Dr. William Paver, the FCSA director. IEA, however, does not provide any identifying information about its director.

Here is a portion of the IEA fees/services page:
Compare this with the FCSA fees/services page:
One notices a certain commonality in content.

Some of the IEA pages show the titles one would expect if they had been taken from FCSA and imperfectly modified: this IEA page is titled "Foreign Credentials Service: FCSA Advisory Board." This one is titled "Foreign Credentials Service: About."

It's worth taking a look at the rest of them before the html is corrected by the web designer.

    ACAC - IEA similarity

Compare the ACAC Employment Opportunities page with the IEA Employment Opportunities page:

    Responding to what one reads

IEA has retitled its pages so that they no longer refer to FCSA.

Further, the employment opportunities page has been reworded so that is less like the corresponding ACAC page.

In addition, the various domain registrations for the real estate sites mentioned earlier in the thread (for example www.Apluswarealestateschool.com) have been changed. Yesterday they had identified "Saint Regis University" as the registrant, while today they list "DR":

Does anyone know if Dixie Randock is St Regis or just part of the web that involves independent but connected operations.

In the days beyond NBOE, does the franchise include use of the St Regis name?
