The International Association of Personal Protection Agents lists as the "IAPPA Deputy Director Elect" the well-known Richard J. Hoyer, Ph.D., M.D., Ed.D.

IAPPA offers "Certificate Programs" through International University College of Security, Technology & Management and "The International University." These entities are already known to many DegreeInfo members.

Other IAPPA staffers include "Dr. C. Campbell" who may be Christopher R Campbell, formerly on the Saint Regis faculty.

The connection between Richard J. Hoyer and Christopher R Campbell was described in this Rochester Democrat and Chronicle article:
But it's easier than that to put them together, along with Stephen R. Barnhart, the IAPPA "Director Elect": go to this Global Capital LLC page to find Hoyer, Campbell, and Barnhart. In addition, the ICHS staff page lists Barnhart and R. Marek, the IAPPA "Director of Physical Conflict Termination." Since the ICHS domain homeland-security-college.org is still registered to Richard Hoyer, it would suggest a connection.

So we seem to find Mr. Hoyer displaying continued interest in the matter of security/protection credentials, in spite of the inactivity of the International College of Homeland Security.

I sent Dr. Bear an e-mail about all of this awhile back, but I never received a response. The biggest factor behind it was this:

"Dr." Campbell is an instructor at the nationally accredited Southwestern College of Business in Cincinnati. I know this because he taught the intro. to computers class I once took there.
This was only weeks ago so he's undoubtedly still there.

Campbell also founded Kingdon College of Natural Health which is where it would seem he obtained his N.D. degree. He also "graduated" from Al-Quasim University. Al-Quasim is/was connected with Saint Regis.

The picture of Campell on the Saint Regis faculty is INDEED the very instructor that taught that class.

After uncovering this, I talked to Campbell and asked where he went to school. He boldly stated American Coastline, & Westminster University (which turned out to be Westminster University of Guam another diploma mill). He did NOT mention Al-Quasim but you can see that at: http://www.kcnh.org/catalogue/faculty.html And you'll see the same man who's faced graced the SRU faculty page. Campbell also signs as President of KCNH.

Here's the only "actual" school Campbell seems to have any connection with: http://www.swcollege.net/index.php?c=cincinnati1_oh
That's where I took my night class.

  4. I think he is also some black-belt Tae Kwon Do kind of guy, so he's probably also capable of kicking a** all over this board.....

There are too many people out there who believe that a few lessons in the martial arts gives one a superior advantage over others (even a black belt holder). Not the case. Training in a dojo under controlled conditions can give one a false sense of security and reality. The ones you really need to worry about are the ex-green berets, navy seals and those who have trained in the military systems. These are the guys you need to worry about. They can rip the head off a Tae Kwon Do practitioner (trained in one of those franchise type martial art schools) in a second.

Just my two cents worth....but I speak from experience.

So then I'll stick with Bruce and any ex-green beret or navy-seal type guy. (Sorry Rich but an ex-air force guy won't do me much good considering who I plan on pissing off next.)

Sorry, I forgot. They are a tough bunch of characters too! Most of their training is in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Hapkido.
