So, we've gone from "prestigious, non-accredited" to "highly accredited." Tends to support my thesis that employers don't know and don't care. It's all good.

Assuming that this is the dishonest academic fraud rabi's little scam, why did he start claiming bogus accreditation after going with unaccredited for so long?

    1. He's decided that he's never going to get caught anyway so why not?

    2. He's decided that he probably wouldn't survive a court battle anyway so why not make his fraudulent behavior more obvious and try to sucker in a few more victims?

    3. People are more aware of accreditation and he's lost too much business lately because of it?

    4. He's sold the business to someone else?

    5. He's so unbelievably stupid that it never occurred to him before to lie that his degree mill is accredited?

    6. It really is accredited.

Listed in approximate decreasing liklihood, at least in my opinion.

Bruce, if you still have it, would you be kind enough to send the ad, with the phone number, to my co-author, retired FBI agent Allen Ezell. He's still very much involved in gathering information on the phonies, part of which is matching area codes and phone numbers to ad content, and looking for patterns. (More than 100 phone numbers used so far, but this content does seem to be new). I'll email you with contact information. Thanks. John

Of course it's all good, I also just read on another thread that good grades are not important either!

So why bother wasting time studying, when all of us can just buy the degree!!

This week I think I'll become a doctor, then when I get tired of that I'll just buy another degree!!

How about a nice California state approved degree from Pacific Western University? You can get it in anything you want (but if it's not psychology it will be from the Hawaii branch but they don't care if you tell people it's from the CA branch and they'll even back up your lie). They show you the proper way to cheat on the tests so that you don't have to bother with learning anything. They don't claim to be "highly accredited" but then Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, Yale, etc. aren't highly accredited either.
