    How about Warnborough?
It seems so big but without accreditation.

I really want to know how can an unaccredited (and seems without licence) University can have so many branches in the World especially Malaysia and China.

Well, when I visited the main campus in London a few years ago, it consisted of one large room, in which sat the man who runs it, Julian Ng, and a secretary.

    Shirley, it's not real! Nononononononononono!

Even SCUPS or CCU are better choices than Wormborough--and an accredited degree will be far more useful that either of those (if CCU gets accreditation, then OK). The worst part of this impulse is that it will not save you any money, you will lose face when (not if) it's discovered, and you will have wasted your time, money, and reputation.

Other than that stuff, Wartborough is a good idea.

In Malaysia I have checked out the two centers who are basically agents who are virtually recruitng students for any college or university as long as they get a 25% commission from the total fee. They have no approval from local minitry of education and operating illegally. One of these days there offices will be shut down by enforcement officials.

I notice from their website, Warnborough planning to hold a graduation ceremony in Hong Kong on 26th June 2004 and I am wondering if they are importing students from China and Malaysia to attend the ceremony. It seems to me that you are in Hong Kong and probably could provide more information on this ceremony.

Get a grip, Shirley. Think "foreign devils". Peter's idea is great: firsthand observation of mill operations always makes for interesting news. If you go watch their "graduation", let us know what the festivities are like.

    From the program:
    09:40 AM Anthem
    ----------------------------------------------------------

    Far above Meshugga's waters,
By the gleaming P. O. box,
Hail to thee, my alma mater,
    Nobler, far, than chicken pox

    May we never prove unworthy,
    Silly Master's clutched in fist;
May one day our wish be granted,
    'Taken off the Or'gon list.'

    Hail to thee Warnborough Uni,
    Wondrous flower of higher learning.
Oxford and Cambridge seem so puny
Now that thou hast satisfied my yearning.

My bank account is now depleted,
    But my pride is overflowing.
    With my fake degree completed
Soon I'll reap what I'm sowing.

In Hong Kong, the law is very strict for non-local institutions. There is Non-local Higher and Professional Education (Regulation). Indeed, only RA and NA Institution can run their program in Hong Kong, there is no WU Campus in Hong Kong, I really can't understand why they launch graduation ceremony here!!

The list of exempted or registered courses are here:
    http://www.emb.gov.hk/index.aspx?nodeID=226&langno=1

Without such exemption and registration, all courses with face-to-face teaching, examination, etc, is law-breaking!!

Even for local learning centre and institution, if they run without Education and Manpower Bureau (HK Education Department) approval, they will be accused too!
