    It seems that the National Board of Education domain http://www.nationalboardedu.com has gone underground or expired. The domain's expiration date was originally 5/11/04.

    Now a visit to that domain yields a screen that informs the visitor that

    :: This domain has expired ::
    click here to renew this domain

    So did NBOE move, or are they gone?

    they're baaaaaaaack!

    The National Board of Education, complete with its clone of Rabbi Asher Wade's home page is back!

    www.nationalboardedu.com = 216.171.216.167
    Dominica registration:
    Adm, Pr.
    7 Old Street

    That rust-proof phone number can also be found here:

    http://www.branfordacademy.com/contact.htm (Branford Preparatory High School)
    http://www.webmarche.com/ (WebMarche)

    The Apollo page features the OTAC-in-a-box address
    611 Pennsylvania Avenue SE, # 211
    Washington, DC 20003-4303 USA

    For those of you new to this stuff, two heads of unaccredited schools provided copies of the email solicitations which were quoted here, among other places. In them NBOE stated "the fee to NBOE covers ALL costs involved and comes with a guaranty of acceptance. The fee is $50,000 US. (Annual renewal: $20,000 per year)."

    I had thought NBOE got itself dropped into the Spokane River (or is it the Mesurado??) and sank, but apparently not.
