Is anyone familiar with the "Graduate Theological Foundation" in South Bend, Indiana (http://gtfeducation.org/)? I'm leery but would appreciate input from others.

My layman's impression of this thing is decidedly mixed.

One thing that puts me off is the way that people always seem to be presenting it as if it were a college of Oxford University. A few examples are this, this, this and this.

I wasn't thrilled with the way their website once featured a photograph of an impressive campus that turned out to be an unrelated convent where GTF apparently rented space occasionally. See this thread .

Their "accreditation" by the questionable Accrediting Commission International (ACI), didn't help their credibility, though it might have been subsequently repudiated. See this thread.

But there really do seem to be people from Oxford associated with GTF. See this. One of the threads that Mike Albrecht referred you to has an Oxford theology professor recommending GTF to an inquirer. And a Google search will generate many seemingly credible people with ties to this place.

Frankly, I don't know what to make of GTF. I'm inclined to think that it might be one of the more credible non-accredited schools out there, at least superficially, but I really wish that it would lose the funny stuff.
