The Office of Consumer Protection of the State of Hawaii has now gone online with information about the regulation of degree granting institutions within the state. You may now find the complete text of the Hawaii law, copies of all lawsuits filed and judgments entered, as well as a short summary of the law online at http://www.state.hi.us/dcca/ocp. Look for the link to "Degree Granting Institutions." It is anticipated that additional sections with other helpful links and FAQs will be added as time permits.

    What a difference a dot makes: http://www.state.hi.us/dcca/ocp/

One more typo and I'll tell the joke that ends with, "You're velcome!" :)

Very nice start, that already has a lot of valuable information.

BTW Police, do you have any comment on the following?

Hello friends, sorry about my English.

OOHHHHHH, a problem of Words. They still in operation in one of the Best States in Distance Learning, remember this BOOK says that “Hawaii went from being one of the worst states to one of the best” (The Bear Book # 15, page 35)

They operate so well, that they are recognized and commended by the Hawaii Senate and the Hawaii House of Representatives. http://www.pwu.com/images/PWU_house_of_Representatives.gif

That was the League of Nations, not the UN, and your non-arguments are just as defunct. Tell you what, gendarme, when you come up with an actual new argument, why not post it? Judging by precedent, it'll be lame. But the stunning novelty of it should perk us all up. Bad enough to be a shill and a defamer; worse yet to be so poor at it. Since you refuse to improve your English, why not post in Spanish? The clarity of speaking your own mamaloshn should illuminate the emptiness of your talk yet more brilliantly, and remove from you a ground of endless snivelling on your part.

It seems like you are using half truths again to misrepresent the truth. The facts are:

-PWU signed a stipulation agreement to avoid be prosecuted
-The only reason the State of Hawaii uses such agreements is that business has fraudulently misrepresented what they are and do.
-As part of it's agreement PWU stated they would in no way suggest the are approved by the State of Hawaii
-They continue to so despite it being a blatant violation of their agreement with the State.
-As you know the commendation is a result of an election contribution. Nothing to be proud of unless someone is trying to misdirect the truth.

Please leave the innuendo and half truths at the other site that specializes in such things.

    Hi Police,

Thanks for pointing this out in this thread. What you point to starting on page 35 is a glowing tribute to Mr. Brunton. It does not praise Hawaii as a great distance learning state as you seem to imply. Instead it is a glowing and well deserved praise for Mr. Brunton successfully chasing most of the degree mills out of Hawaii. PWU broke the law by practicing misleading consumer affairs tactic and was fined. Unlike most of the other degree mills, PWU decided to stick around Hawaii because the laws are really very lax. The lax laws means to me that Mr. Brunton is even more deserving of the glowing praise!

PWU's graduation requirements are an academic joke and that makes it a degree mill.

John Bear: Bill Huffman is indeed correct. I have written that Hawaii is one of the best states for pursuing and successfully prosecuting places like Pacific Western.

Since Police is maintaining that I say Hawaii has some of the best distance learning schools . . . well, I believe yet another apology for lying is in order.

John: Do that and I'll have to introduce the question, "Can you name three islands whose names are questions?"

I'm a guessin' Mr Police jes' afeared to write in Spanish.

Thataway he couldn't hide behind his poverty of vocabulary and grammatical incompetence while he defames others and repeats himself like a busted record.

    Then again, maybe he could.
