Yabbut do you see how they write SCUps? Wasn't one of the criticisms that they are too easily confusable with USC?

You've got dislexia, Nosborne. 'SCU' isn't 'USC'. On the other hand, Santa Clara University might have a beef. But I don't think that matters very much unless there's a danger of confusion, and I don't really see it here.

What conclusions do you think that we should draw from that?

Personally, I have no problems with SCUPS. They have always seemed to fall in the 'legitimate non-accredited' class. In the past their CA-approval and their DL orientation defined their niche, but I guess that they are feeling increased competition from accredited rivals. They tell us that they plan to seek "national accreditation", which I interpret to mean DETC or maybe ACICS. I believe that they are serious because they have discontinued all of their doctoral programs except the J.D. (taking them out of the CA-approved psych-school class).
