Hi. I just noticed that California Pacific University (CPU) added the Ph.D. in Management to its degree programs (bottoom of the page):

Unlike the CPU DBA doctoral project, the CPU Ph.D. in Management dissertation requires a committee. I wonder if there are any other curriculum differences between the two degrees.

I notice CPU tries to disuade students from any other DL universities!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Prospective students to whom an accredited degree is of paramount importance should enroll in regionally accredited residential university programs and not consider alternative distance learning programs."

Interesting...they should have left out the word "residential". Certainly Capella, Walden, Touro, Western Governors, Excelsior, Charter Oak, Jones International and Thomas Edison are viable (and accredited) alternatives to CPU.

Hi. That phrasing always seems to provoke discussion... I recall it being in versions of the catalog as early as 1995, perhaps even earlier.
