University of Santa Monica

Does anyone know the history of this school? I know that it is unaccredited institution. They offer a M.A. in Spiritual Psychology.

The reason why I brought it up because best selling author and inspirational speaker Iyanla Vanzant received a M.A. from this institution.

She also has a law degree from CUNY-Queens College.

I happened to be an intern at her short-lived talk show in 2001. I said hi to her couple of times.

Do you think she knows it is a degree mill? Or is it ok to attend an institution like this if it matches with an individual's interest?

Been around a long time. Used to be called Koh-E-Nor University, IIRC.
