So what. I read Degreeinfo everyday, I'm sure there's dozens of schools in the archives I have "Never Heard of" either. I didn't see Dennis actually posting to that thread back in March '02 which would be a different story. Besides, your argument seems all rather petty.

I have to agree with Gus. What scam are you talking about.

The lawyers suing because the woman cannot transfer credit? Perhaps FMU for being ACICS accredited?

Neither seem to be a scam to me. FMU is not a mill, it is not Harvard either.

I personally know two people who are graduates of FMU. One person with an AA is a dolt. One person with a BA is a not. Both of them were subordinates of mine for several years so I am able to gauge their abilities.
Would I go to FMU? No. Is it fine for some people, probably.

    Scam? Hardly.

The "scam" is that there is a person talking up the strengths of the lawsuit while representing himself as a paralegal for company bringing forth the lawsuit. It appears that the person is actually one of the disgruntled former FMU students that is involved in the lawsuit.

Nobody is saying that FMU is a scam.

I thin some one got it right:

So if anything this is about utility of the degree.

    Exactly.

This lawsuit isn't necessarily a scam but this persons actions are.
