    BAM!

    Yes! A glimpse into the world of tomorrow. I would imagine that these "teachers" are also liable for the amount of the salary increases. Boy that fake degree thing is such a great idea. Perhaps this is a kind of natural selection in the employment jungle.

    Since our SRU apologists have seemingly disappeared, I guess I'm forced to toot their horn myself.

    [fraudSpeak]
    SRU degrees are fully equivalent to RA degrees. Due to RA bigots telling on these poor teachers, these poor teachers may face criminal charges. It is terrible that these kind of misunderstandings can occur and is a perfect example as to why I can't give specific examples as to how people are using SRU degrees that prove that they are perfectly equivalent to RA.

    maybe CCI

    One possibility is Career Consultants International; see this thread. CCI had been a member of AACRAO (since they did pay their dues), but I do not know if CCI is still included in AACRAO's roster.

    On the CCI site is (was?) the page http://www.thecareerpeople.com/sru.htm. In this page:

    Not one student has had the need to ask for a refund. You don't say. That wouldn't be good for business, would it??

    Re: SRU agent recommends TESC

    Right-click on the link to sru.html, then save the file. Open it with an editor and replace

    window.location.replace('consult.htm');

    with

    <!--window.location.replace('consult.htm');-->

    and save the changes. Then double click on the file you've just modified to open it with a browser. You'll be able to see the text in the earlier posts.

  17. Greed...

    It is truly sad what some individuals will do for just a little bit more money, how they will sacrifice their integrity and morals and try to claim that the "degree" they had is either (a) legitimate because "Liberia says so" or (b) they didn't "know this was a bad thing to do".

    What is truly horrible, though, is that the predators who run SRU and their running dogs in the credential evaluation industry, most notably CCI, have steered otherwise honest individuals down a path towards crime and ruination of all future credibility.

    The delusion that the "degree holders" at SRU have about what their institution is, and the value of their "degrees" is astonishing. How much more obvious can it be that this is a diploma mill, a scam, an underworld operation, a lying/cheating organization that has enlisted desparate individuals from all over the world to participate in their conspiracy?

    This would be a complete joke, if it weren't causing such obvious, deep, and REAL damage to people's lives. Enough already - let the feds move in on these criminals and shut them down, once and for all.

    I agree Carl. Although I must admit that I miss the entertainment provided by the SRU supporters that visited this forum for a short time.

    I don't think that CCI is doing the evaluations, if they are I don't know how they are doing them. I was contacted on several occasions by "Liz" to find out if i felt that SRU was RA Equiv..... I should still have the e-mails if any one is interested.

  20. True enough...

    They were/ARE a funny bunch for sure. Especially that John guy who used to go off like a loose cannon at everyone, including strange and disturbing references to psychological profiles, etc. On their faculty profiles, I especially like Bob Stefaniak - the guy from Milwaukee (Janko's home town) who looks like he's been to one too many polka parties....

    What strikes me is to what lengths and efforts these losers all are willing to go to somehow make themselves feel good about this, or try to endlessly convince others that this fraud is real - all of that effort could have been put to much better use getting a REAL degree long before now. Some of those folks have been at this phony degree justification crusade for years already.... Many are foreign, and think they can fly under radar in their home countries?

    Which brings me to my point - maybe the reason they put the effort into SRU instead of a legitimately accredited academic program is because they know in their hearts that they could never hack the rigor of the pursuit of a true degree? "Life experience" sounds a lot easier - until the warrants for arrest or lawsuits for fraud and repayment of improperly obtained salary increases come floating in....

    Again, referring to comments my friend made to me a few days ago when she visited their forum - the "internal SRU braintrust" as personfied by these sad individuals acts like they are some holy brother/sisterhood, on a mission to convince all of humanity of the justness of their cause...

    Puhleeze! By now they should be looking over their shoulders for the guys with handcuffs or the guys in the white coats, take your pick.

    I've become considerably more vocal about SRU since I've become considerably more convinced that they are a menance to innocent dupes who buy their crap as well as a growing circle of conspirators who know what they are doing is wrong, but have justified their crimes in their own deluded minds. I can only hope that my words of wisdom will cause at least one or two of them to carefully think through the path they have chosen, and get off it ASAP...
