Of course, there's no such thing as "University of Palmers Greem", either.

Good Lord! If there were ever a reason NOT to appoint someone to position as a change agent, it would particularly be because of their "long career in state government". Not the other way around.

    Here's the press release:
A release from July 2002, said: "Corrie, who has a B.S. in information systems management, and an MBA in business, is in the final stages of a Master's degree in technology from George Washington University. But for him, education isn't just something that only happens in class."

For him, it doesn't happen in class? You don't say.

His April 2002 bio was consistent with his July 2002 bio:

Corrie earned a master of science degree and received his bachelor of arts degree from the University of Palmer Green. He also received his master's certificate in Information Systems Project Management from George Washington University.

If this is true, how did he ever get admitted to GWU without an accredited undergrad degree?

This would raise the question as to if he is really enrolled at GW. I wonder if GW would verify him as a student. Since gov. positions are considered positions of public trust I believe that his dubious credentials violate that trust.

    Okay, so what is a:
and how does it compare to a "Masters"?

I think this is just a fancy way of saying "Graduate Level Certificate".

An always-reliable private Email correspondent sent me this:

"Before this appointment, Corrie was named in 1998 as Chief of the Information Technology Services Division of the California Public Employees Retirement System; he had been the CIO of the California Department of Corrections._ Last year he was named by Oracle as CIO of the Year._"
