I know that we have talked about Robertstown alot, but I was poking around there page today (its amazing how much of their wording is like SRU's. You would think they would change stuff up a bit) anyway, I noticed on the their site that they applied to be in the Unesco hand book..... http://www.robertstownuniversity.ac/accreditation.htm

April can't get here soon enough.....

    Pigeon University

I would say that an organization that shows a picture of Blenhem Palace dropped onto its supposedly Monrovian campus is capable of all sorts of unusual feats. These include providing degrees in exchange for pigeon-like levels of academic accomplishment, a practice held in common some months ago with Saint Regis.

Did you notice that the Robertstown link "Find out if you qualify for a Degree now" takes you to http://saintregis.edu.lr/free_eval_disc.htm?

In addition, pigeons seeking high school degrees are sent to the Branford Academy, even though the Liberty Prep site states that the high school "program offered through Liberty Academy Preparatory High School [is] a division of internationally renowned Robertstown University."

Our friends at AdvancedU tell us "Robertstown University is unique!" And so it is.

But they also say "We LOVE this fully accredited, 100% online, COMPETENCY-BASED Degree Program" about James Monroe University so maybe they have a hidden agenda.

It's highly unlikely that Robertstown is going to get placed in the UNESCO book of universities. The folks at SRU and Robertstown really need to get a reality check.

The folks at UNESCO are probably splitting their sides in laughter.

I always find it interesting that these two "unrelated" "large international" schools share a fax:

    Robertstown University Monrovia
    University Services
    Fax/Voicemail: 309 412 1966

    St. Regis University
    Director: Dr. Jallah Faciann
    Fax/Voicemail: 309 412 1966

    they didn't even thank us...

...for spotting mistakes in their web pages!

I would say that an organization that shows a picture of Blenhem Palace dropped onto its supposedly Monrovian campus is capable of all sorts of unusual feats....

Blenheim is gone. (Maybe it moved back to Oxfordshire.) In the static picture that's replaced the slide show, there's even (tucked away in the background) a person with darker skin than was to be found in the old slide show.

Did you notice that the Robertstown link "Find out if you qualify for a Degree now" takes you to http://saintregis.edu.lr/free_eval_disc.htm?

Now Robertstown points to itself rather than SRU.

In addition, pigeons seeking high school degrees are sent to the Branford Academy, even though the Liberty Prep site states that the high school "program offered through Liberty Academy Preparatory High School [is] a division of internationally renowned Robertstown University."

It looks like Liberty Prep is back in favor with Robertstown-- that link's also been changed. However, the name replacement was probably done as a change-all: everywhere in the page the school is referred to as 'liberty Academy," beginning with a lower case "l". Maybe next iteration they'll fix that too.

    ... out of control...

So, if Robertstown is based in Liberia, why do they have a U.S. phone number? Not only that, but that number once upon a day was a fax number: (202 478 1779)

    Take a look:
    https://www.marketrends.net/advanced/OTAC.htm
If you go to marketrends.net you'll see that it is (was?) an Internet Service Provider.

They also share the number of their accreditor The National Board of Education:
    http://www.nationalboardedu.com/contact.htm

You can see here that Saint Regis uses (used?) that number (this also an interesting Liberian accreditation article):
    http://www.bc.edu/bc_org/avp/soe/cihe/newsletter/News32/text004.htm

While I don't know who the phone number is registered to I can attest to the fact that it's a Washington D.C. number.
Washington D.C. is the "home" of the NBOE.

As I've pointed out before (I'm sure others have as well) Robertstown's domain extension '.ac' is for the Ascension Islands.
Take a look at the following website and you tell me how a university could be located on this very small (35 square miles) "rocky peak of purely volcanic origin". Also, one small factoid taken from the below link:
    POPULATION
There is no indigenous population. The inhabitants of the island comprise the employees and families of the organisations working on the island. The population is about 1,100 - mostly Saint Helenians but with 200 United Kingdom and 150 US citizens.

It's kind of like the 'unpopulated' UPS Store universities we're so fond of. Anyway, here is the link:
    http://www.ascension-island.gov.ac/ascension.htm

Okay, so back to the phone number. As you will by clicking on the link below, the aformentioned phone number is indeed a fax machine. The phone number is: 377 47 528-637 & one search of Google will present that this number belongs (belonged) to Saint Regis. The link:

    http://www.nic.ac/cgi-bin/whois?query=robertstownuniversity.ac

Okay, I think I've said enough.

    Your's in educational integrity,
