Interesting, possibly Tennesse will be added to the growing list of states where most unaccredited degrees will be illegal to use.

    Yipee!

Wait a second, was RJT from Tennesse? I vaguely remember that he was from a state that was on the Atlantic coast, so maybe not.

I just hope their attempt doesn't go the route of Oregon's and outlaw the few legitimate unaccredited schools that are in operation and lump all together as mills.

I assume that the main reason that people single out Oregon is that they have the wonderful web site?

It seems that the states outlawing almost all unaccredited degrees do it that way because it is by far the simpliest to define. The number of decent perpetually unaccredited schools is miniscule compared to the total population of degree mills. I believe that it is also a part of the reason why the number of decent perpetually unaccredited schools seems to only be decreasing even further.

My view is that it appears to be the growing trend and is another general reason why it is best to avoid unaccredited degrees as their utility degrades further.
