They're accredited by the WAUC....why could you ever insinuate that they are a mill????

I will say that Maxine Asher runs a very smooth operation with WAUC....they accredit schools while at the same time admitting that their accreditation is meaningless, with this statement from the Columbus website:

The World Association of Universities and Colleges is a private accrediting body not listed with any government agency or the U.S. Department of Education, and is not designed to meet the needs of students intending to use Federal Funds. It is the responsibility of each student to determine, prior to registration at Columbus University, that their degree program or studies, meet admission, employment, or transfer requirements. The University makes no representations, promises or guarantees of employment or acceptability of transfer credits to any public or private educational institution.

In other words......WAUC accreditation is basically meaningless.

Columbus University is the alma mater of one Charles Abell, "deputy undersecretary of defense for personnel and readiness, (he) is essentially the No. 2 personnel administrator at the Pentagon, handling everything from pay and benefits to education and training for the military and all civilian Defense Department employees. John Bear, Allen Ezell, and I were interviewed. It has been discussed on this board previously, but in case anyone wants a refresher, I thought I'd bring it up again.
