Question for our UK Friends

    What can any one tell me about http://www.lister-institute.org.uk

    I have a client who has a client with a PhD from Lister's dated to 1973, though i find nothing on the lister site about them ever granting degree's.

    Found this...

    Also, it mentions in the Lister Institute web site that they converted from a research institute to a trust in the late 1970's.

    I do not know a great deal of the history of the Institute, however if you check on the UK register of companies www.companieshouse.gov.uk/info
    it would appear to have been registered as a limited compnay since 1891. (yes 18, not 19!)
