I know that ACCS has fallen into the crapper with some. I for one have put all future studies on hold. However they are still accredited and just hosted a visit from TRACS. Is there still life or was TRACs there to put the nails in the coffin? Just wondering
Robert, I share your concern. I do not think anyone will know with any certainty until the TRACS meeting in April (less than 2 months away). Hang in there. North
This is a case where no news is no news. I really do wish ACCS well and hope they get their act together. I'm done speculating on the likelihood of that.
== I suppose I am viewed as being in the "some." I think ACCS should drop the DMin in Bible/Theology since, last I looked they had no PhD/ThD profs in Bib/Theo, and then point out to TRACS that RA/ATS seminaries regularly employ DMins to teach ministry at all levels. If these can, why cannot TRACS? I too wish ACCS well. .
Bill, good imput. I emailed TRACS and have not gotten a reply. This does not surprise me as i have emailed them before. I was wondering if those of you who seem to have connections with those at TRACS have heard anything. I believe that ACCS could offer A DMIN in practical theology, and Christian leadership even Christian ed. etc. So it seems to me there might be some real positive options. But in reality this may not be the main problem or problems with the school. I can't believe that Trinity is starting to look pretty good now!
I agree. My impression is that ACCS is not over bursting with confidence. I think they honestly do not know...are hopeful but do not know. North
