Kennedy Western University and Others

Can anyone here tell me if Kennedy Western University and the American Military University are legit? I see where Kennedy Western is licensed as a private school and I have a friend of mine at Southwestern Bell Telephone who recieved an engineering degree from KWU and got a nice promotion...

How about AMU?

Kennedy Western University is a degree mill. They have fled three different jurisdictions to avoid legal problems. They don't publish graduation requirements for the different degrees. They operate out of California but use an address in Wyoming which is another sign of a degree mill. They aren't allowed to enroll students with California addresses because they operate from California. The apparent minimum graduation requirements based on reports from victims enrolled is woefully below standard degrees. KWU degrees are illegal for use in many states. DEGREE MILL!

AMU is accredited by DETC and appears to be a most excellent institution especially for students interested in a military career.

 

American Military University (AMU), which is now part of the American Public University System (APUS), is also seeking RA from NCA. It is a legitimate college with genuine and recognized accreditation (DETC). Although prospective students are not required to affiliate with the military as a prerequisite for admission, it may be worthy to aver that AMU tends to target the military community, both active and retired.
