The State of Hawaii, by its Office of Consumer Protection, filed suit today against Nation University (a Hawaii nonprofit corporation). The suit alleges that the defendant violated various provisions of Hawaii's Unaccredited Degree Granting Institutions Law (Hawaii Revised Statutes Chapter 446E) and seeks injunctive relief, restitution, civil penalties and other equitable relief. Nation Univ maintains the website located at www.nu-edu.us and is believed to be under the control of Cui Yubin of Shandong, China.

    Jeff,

I am always glad to see your posts. States tackling the tough job of keep the "less than wonderful" schools in line is highly commendable.
