SRU gets high rating... continued

I was unable to post this to the "SRU gets high rating..." thread.

On 14 August 2003, when Len (not mentioning his SRU connection) posted a link to http://www.thedegree.com/distance-learning.html and asked "how do you then explain this?"
(http://forums.degreeinfo.com/showthread.php?postid=84571#post84571), SRU was #1 at http://www.thedegree.com/distance-learning.html, and #3 at the http://www.thedegree.com home page, and (as PLCScott noted at the time) there were 17 schools in the "Top 20".

Shortly thereafter, when the http://www.distancedegree.edu.pk/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl board was open, I saw a post by one SRU person citing SRU's #1 ranking at TheDegree.com as proof of SRU's accomplishments. I asked that person if he knew who owned TheDegree.com. The only response I saw was by someone else (I believe his handle was "jesus") who asked, "Do you know, Mark?" Then the board was shut down.

SRU is now #3 on both pages, and there are 23 schools in the "Top 20".
