Best of luck to the Mississippi legislators.

Dr Bruce Edward Rosen hasn't updated his CV since 1998, but he was teaching a course at UCLA as recently as last semester. I wonder if he knows how his name is being used.

    Bill,

    An excellent expose.

Unbelievable accomplishments. She discovered underwater pyramids and Greek style buildings. I am waiting for it all to be published in National Geographic. ;)

Interesting article though... looks like McHenry and Burton both seem to be pushing for a State approval system and there's a testimonial from a source at the US DOE:

"...The system of education in the United States isn't centralized, said Jane Glickman, an information specialist with the U.S. Department of Education in Washington, D.C. "There's a lot of responsibility the consumer has to take on himself. There's not a centralized authority on education." If a university is not acknowledged by a state accrediting agency or eligible for federal student grants or loans, it's buyer beware, she said..."

Don't often see articles that push for State approval systems even though it's the States who have the power to regulate education, more so than the accreditors.

Great article on Maxine's discoveries... I missed her expedition off Spain on the Discovery Channel... wow an urn! any photos of those pyramids off the East Coast? ...water must have been a little murky at the time...
