From Saint Regis University's faculty page:

"Professor Dr. Robert Hartley began his working career as a Cartographer with the Ordnance Survey in the UK. [...] A variety of consultancy projects followed, one of especial note being to initiate and facilitate the accreditation of Knightsbridge University’s study modules for membership of the Association of Lawyers, of which Robert is an Honorary Fellow. It was at this point that Robert was awarded his PhD honoris causa. [...] Currently semi-retired, Robert is retained as a distance tutor and examiner by the University of Reading in the UK and is a member of the adjunct faculty of Fairfax University in the USA."

I relayed the above as a curiosity, not to make a point.

I wonder if Knightsbridge's study modules are still "accredited", or if this has been superseded by Knightsbridge's current "self-validating" status.

I also wonder how Saint Regis would reconcile this mention of two unaccredited schools with its statement, "It is extremely important that the university you select is legally and properly accredited with a legitimate accreditor." http://saintregis.edu.lr/important.htm

Somehow, I don't think even Fairfax quite deserves St Regis glomming on to them.

The lowest common denominator will always try to grasp at a higher divisor.
