Besides RA and DETC, are there any legit agencys that accredit schools?

I am thinking about a PhD down the road but do not want to spend 25-30K to get it. My company does pay 4K per year but it could still cost me quite a bit because several program require "continual enrollment".

I was thinking about California University Of Business And Technology or California Pacific University but my company has changed their policy regarding tuition assistance and will only reimburse for accredited schools.

Is there a reasonable priced (comparable to CPU or CUBT)PhD/DBA program that is accredited from a legit organization?

There's ACICS but it is limited to masters degrees like DETC.

South Africa would be about it. Everyone else has discovered what the market will bear.

Hi. They should raise the tuition reimbursement if they are going to require higher priced schools... Too bad they don't have the foresight to reimburse for this type of management training, but I'll bet they would pay to send managers to a brief conference... What a waste. California Pacific University has a solid practitioner Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program that the company should reimburse you for, if they approached it from a cost-benefit analysis. The meager cost of tuition and books would be a great company investment in you. You could even do your doctoral project on an applied research, company-related issue, potentially saving the company money or opening new revenue opportunities. The cost of the whole program would be similar to a couple of management training junkets -- hour for hour, dollar for dollar, the California Pacific University DBA is one of the best management training deals around... Perhaps you could try to petition with a catalog in hand. A thought.

    My two cents,

    Dave
