I just got the basic tear-stained letter from someone who says he sent more than $1,000 to St. John University in Idaho, and never even got his (presumably not too valuable) diploma. I don't find it in a search here, or with Google. Does anyone know?

Wait, wait. The letter gave me the website: http://www.saintjohn.ws/ It's that place that says they've been there for 600 years, but doesn't use the telephone, blah blah blah. But the Idaho connection is of interest to me, and possibly to law enforcement folks.

(And what, I wonder, happened, or is happening, to St. John's University in rural Louisiana, now that they have been turned down by DETC and, presumably, can no longer operate in Louisiana?)

The template looks to be a knock-off of Kristiaan De Ley's mill Capitol University.

The email address, [email protected], turns up many posts to various boards under various names, many prefaced with 'brother'. The tbi.net indicates WebNet, Inc. in Clearwater.

St. John's Louisiana is going to drop all secular programs (like police science, administration) and go back to SJU of "practical theology" and offer the programs they used to have in the religious/spiritual fields. The amazing thing is that they seem disinclined to adjust their very high tuition. They will operate in Louisiana as a strictly religious school related to the Congregational Church of Practical theology under LA exemption. I know I'm crazy, so don't yell, but I kind of like their quirky character, especially the school bus and the watch dog--presumably their mascot.

    C'mon guys...

This school was started 600 years ago in 1866. They *must* have a proven track record.

They either have to offer a degree in "Timecapsule Theories" or "Remedial Math". Which, with this school, they probably offer both.

I've seen every episode of 'Futurama' so I figure I can get about 158 life experience credits and then I can write a 1 page essay about monkeys in space to get the remaining.

For the record, the address to which this person sent his St. John University tuition was:

PFSJI North American Administration Link 2600a Seltice Way #251 Post Falls, ID 83854, c/o Andrew Wren.

Could there possibly be a Canyon or a Breyer State connection? Or is Idaho on the way to becoming the new center for the non-wonderfuls?

    This from their site

Now, I know this is probably a typo and should be "boom" but I am wondering if it's not Hip Hop for "baboon" telling folks who pay these prices and get a SJU degree they're baboons? :D

The religious order is, needless to say, a fake, and Isola Gallinara has never been used as some sort of monastic (let alone Templar!) refuge.

I assume that "national socialist" means nazi.

Penis enlargement, neo-nazis and phony "universities" belong together somehow.

I seem to recall a German complaint that the European standard condom size was too large.
